Why these books are different
Not by an AI. With one.
Books spat out by a machine have earned themselves a reputation, and a deserved one. These came about differently, and the difference can be named: there was no prompt from which a chapter fell out. There were two years of conversation. Characters born in an argument over a scene; turns neither of us would have had alone; passages where today no one can say who started.
